Hey everyone! I have been a member for a while but dont post very often. I got rid of the nightster and bought a fatboy lo. Love the ride but I feel like im streatched out to much so im going to buy a set of new bars. I'm only 5ft 5in tall the mini apes on my sporty was great but I would like to get some input from here. Thanks EJ
To each there own... i don't have to tell you how comfy apes are cause you were already running some chimps. We just did a bar swap on a fatboy lo on my friend bike 16", 1.5" dia Calini Gansta's and he loves them. Here's a vid of the test run.
btw... you could 12.5's or even 14" the only thing is the cables cost a bundle either way you go you prob need to extend the wires 8 wires on the clutch side and 6 on the trottle.
2 extra on the clutch side are for the safety switch.
