Was wondering if anyone is using this riser from Harley. I have an 07 Heritage and would like to get an inch or 2 pullback. Don't need to raise the bars, just pull em back. Also if you have them did you need to replace any cables for the install. My dealer says I would need to replace cables, not sure i agree with that assessment. Thanks in advance and any pics would be greatly appreciated.
Looks like he's already pulled his bars back. Like me. I thought about risers to get a couple more inches of pb over what I have with the bars pulled back. But besides it being a half azz fix I think the pb risers may look goofy with the Heritage mini apes.
Once I get new bars on the wife's Deluxe I'll be working on finding the perfect set for mine.
As for whether your stock cables will work with pb risers? Just from looking at the slack in my cables with the bars pulled back like they are, I'd say you stand a good chance of having to replace at least the brake line. The others look like they have enough slack but I can't be sure.
I have the 56066-82A 4" curved risers which are very similar and did not need to change cables. I have since changed to the stock Deluxe bars though but even with the stock Heritage bars it was fine.
