Default Handlebar question

I like the bars on my heritage only i wish they were just a bit taller. Would you stick with the stock bars and just add risers? Or just go with mini apes and risers? I was thinking i would also like to cleanup the bars by running the wires through the bars.
I tried rolling the bars forward but that didnt quite give me the height i wanted for comfort.
Thanks in advance for any input.
What would you guys do?

I would go with taller risers myself. Simple and inexpensive, plus I like the stock bars on my Heritage. I actually need to bring mine up and back a bit and I'm researching what I can go with without changing out wires and brake lines.

Thanks. I actually have some 4" pull backs that I bought but I haven't gotten around to installing them yet. They're not as thick around as the stock risers and I'm not sure how they're going to look. I'd really love to be able to put the riser on that come stock on the Softail Deluxe without having to extend any cables and such.

A good fit handle bar is worth a lot when it comes to handle bars. Even adding risers may require cable and wire extensions if they are too tall. Also I would upgrade the riser bushings when going up in height. I think adding taller pull back risers with mini apes is a bandaid fix and most end up buying a set of bars that have the correct rise, pull back, and width

When I had my 2010 heritage, the stock risers from a deluxe was the route I went with. Didn't need to do anything to the cables.

^That^

If you have enough cable slack, keep it simple.
