Well I guess I had to get my first post out of the way at some point..I've always been more of the lurker type using search to help me with my questions...I've definitely had some nice bits of inspiration from here. Quietly of course...
That being said,
I installed 19" Banana Boards on my 09 Deluxe and I can no longer put my kickstand down with my foot as it doesn't reach past the boards (in the up position). I have to lower it by hand and I hate it..
I was wondering if anyone has run across the same problem and would love to hear what they did to fix it. I was thinking of taking it down to a fabricator recommended to me to see if he could make a custom extension, just wondering if there was an easier way out?
I was surprised to search and not find any posts that discussed having the same issue?
I have the 19" boards also, and my kickstand was getting stuck in the up position. I had to take a rubber mallet and tap on the foot part of the stand and bent it slightly to get it to clear. I still have to lower by hand though. Not a big deal to me though, the boards are sweet.
