Removing reflectors
What is the best way to remove the reflectors on my FatBoy Lo without making a mess?

Two words: "heat gun".
Don't aim at any one spot for too long and take your time.

Heat 'em up good with a hair dryer (or heat gun if you've got one) and just pull 'em off! Then use some "goo gone" to clean up.

removing reflectors
I just gave mine a twist and they popped off. No mess no fuss and away I went.

Ride up to the meanest looking biker and yell "Don't mess with my reflectors!". In a day or two they should drop right out...
Googone works wonders too.

blow hair dryer across deflector, (keep it moving, don't hold it in one place),
and use a thin plastic putty knife to slowly pull deflector off.

Another vote for this method. It worked like a charm for me.
