Default question about exhaust gaskets

If I'm removing my exhaust to get to something else, do I need new gaskets when I put it back on, or can I use the same gaskets? I know you should use new gaskets when installing a new exhaust, but I'm not sure if you need to do this if you're reinstalling the same pipes.

Thanks

Pop a few new ones in there. Might as well.

I doubt there's a hard and fast rule that says you must change them but based on what they do and how they work I would use new ones.

It is easier to use new ones than have to remove the exhaust again and put new ones if the old ones are leaking.

like the others have said, new ones are cheap. the only reason that I didnt use new ones was because each time Ive removed my pipes it was a spur of the moment type thing (brought on by budweiser and boredom) and I didnt have any and its about an hour drive to the dealer. that being said, Ive done it twice, no leaks.

Man I've changed, removed my exhaust 20+ times and I'm still on the OG gaskets. 6 buck buys a few beers.
