I am sure I saw two or three after market racks in the JP Cycle catalog. One appeared to be somewhat larger...

 

Thanks for the tip. This one looks like it will work. It will relocate the lic plate below the tail light. I think it would look better there, and it would be well clear of the rack.

I've tried to get help on thsi one before. What do you do for a luggage rack when you have an after market seat that won't fit withthe stock oneand you have the one piece detachable backrest that is round instead of square? None of Harley's racks will fit on that sissy bar. Does anyone know of one that will?

 

Chalk me up as another Deluxe owner that loves/hates his rack. I like the look of it, but my bag sags over the license plate as well. Works great for my small roll bag...but is otherwise barely useable. As mentioned in an earlier post, I'm thinking of having a plate made that would increase the "surface area" of the rack and could be removed when I'm not riding long distances. It would probably cost a small fortune to have it fabbed...anyone know of an aftermarket solution that might do this?
