Question about SE Ventilator and state 1 upgrade.
When I bought my 2010 Fat Boy Lo I did the stage one upgrade.
I'm currently looking to replace the stock football Air Cleaner with the Screamin' Eagle Ventilator Performance Air Cleaner Kit (part 28722-10).
Does anyone know if I will need to do another download or tuning? I called the service dept. at my HD dealer and they were not sure. They said I need to bring it in after I install it and have a DYNO.
Wondering if anyone has done anything similar and your experience.

I had this same question answered for me a couple of months back here on the Forum, and it goes like this.
I had the Vance&Hynes exhaust coupled with the round SE HighFlo AirCleaner under the football cover. The bike was re-mapped for this modification.
I recently upgraded the Air Cleaner to the Screamin Eagle Heavy Breather and this upgrade requires no further re-mapping. Both Air Cleaners are High Flow and the extra flow from the SE Heavy is in fact not enough to require another electronic adjustment.
Do a search query in the tool bar up top and type in Heavy Breather and find my thread and all the useful opinions that I received.
