Hi, my error. Battery went dead, so I'm curious what was drawing the current, but mostly curious if I screwed up something by leaving the "Ignition" switch , on the tank, ON for so long without engine running. In the old days that could fry the points (remember those??) if shut at the time. Battery is now recharging so I haven't been able to start it up again to see if any damage. The only damage is should just be a little dent in your pride and as far as why it went dead the biggest draw would only be the lights,so this is a inexpensive lesson!
like the other fellas said - the headlight killed your battery. Turn the ignition off! I don't use the run switch. I turn it off and on with the switch on the tank. Problem solved!
