Default Will the security FOB quit

working if it's not been used in a while? I tested the battery and it's fine. The FOB is only about 3 months old and was working a few weeks ago when I tested it in the garage. Now today, at work...it no workie...

Is it the newer style hands free version? I have not seen any issues with those except for the battery. BTW I have one on the classifed section that I am selling if you're interested.

No it's the one button for the older bikes. Just bought this one from ebay a few months ago, but thanks.

Change the battery, I had that system on my 06 and it seemed like the battery would crap out for no ryme of reason. Maybe I was pressing the button on something in my pocket without knowing it. Putting in a new battery always corrected the problem for me.

Funny...I took the battery out to test and it's fine. Put it back in and it works perfectly...strange. Just needed to be woke up I guess.

A couple of years ago my bike battery went dead during winter storage. I purchased a new battery for the bike and had to re-program both remotes.........
