Right now I am deployed to Afghanistan. I bought a fat boy while I was on leave and already dropped it 2". I'm 6'1" tall and am trying to decide between apes or beach bars. I feel ya brother. I was in your same situation six months ago. Same country, same bike, same question. I went with the Klock Werks Mentele bars. I'm 5'8" and have no problems, so I'm sure you'd be fine. Keep safe, I'll be back in 4 months for another tour. Next time it will be what bags to get!
