I was the guy that had the belt problem. If you search "rocker recall" the thread should come up. the belt was rubbing on the swing arm. I am currently running without the belt guard. With the belt guard on you can't see any of the wear. The only way you can tell is if you take the belt guard off. They tried to give me 4 different swing arms....in the end, I had to fix it myself. I told them to unbolt the rear sprocket and I had .200 taken off the face of the sprocket to move it closer to the centerline of the bike. Doesn't rub anymore and I will NEVER take my bike to the dealer again!!!
If any of you have questions regarding this problem just give me a call at 815-979-1961
They thought it was the swing arm...and just by looking at the design of it, getting a new swing arm isn't going to fix it. They kept on thinking that I was just getting "bad" swing arms, but in fact the swing arm wasn't the problem. It's funny how the service rep told me that there were 5 engineers working on the problem and it took a 26 yr old engineer (me) and and hour of time to fix the problem. My bike was in the dealer for around 4 months
I have to Second JAXX. I too imported a Rocker into Canada back in October and had to obtain a Recall letter from Deely Harley Davidson Canada (they provide this recall info to the Registrar of Imported Vehicles [RIV] Federal Gov Division) and there were NO ISSUES. Thinking this is a one off issue.
Good Luck
