For anyone who's still on the site that has thrown a fairing on the bike, did you have to go with Street Glide style apes? And if so what style did you choose? I put a reckless knockoff fairing on mine but it doesn't want to mount properly because of my bars. However when I look for curves apes to accommodate the batwing all the website say they won't fit my Fat Boy.

Here is my fatglide 2013. .. 4.5" stretched 2014+ blocked out in the rear saddlebags. Reckless dark knight fairing 4 speakers and amp. Crystal clear doing 70mph. Z bar apes. Big radius turn down pipes. I also have the kuryakyn turn signal mirrors in the front to eliminate the stock signals. Crash bar and highway pegs. Screaming eagle cams and screaming eagle intake. Bad dad summit stretched rear fender with 992 lights should be here tomorrow. Next step wheels!
