This is my 2006 I bought last year. I modified a 97 softail rear rack and made the quick the disconnect brackets for it. The bag is a early 70's Vespa bag, I repainted it and had it pin stripped.
Pops, no shame in the rattle can jobs. I painted my dyna WG over winter with some HD denim black rattle can (sprayed like ****) and also some rustoleum flat (sprayed on like a million bucks). Sold the bike and made a killing. Your bike turned out amazing and I like the windshield setup you have.
BB06FLHX, here's the windshield pics. Some folks might like to look
through the windshield but prefer to look over the top that's why
it's cut that low.
By the way I really like the look of your bike, thought I might add
some color to my bike to break up all that black.Bad a$$ bike you
have Bro!!
Thanks for the compliments Pop. Bike was originally the missus's and was that stock baby blue and white with lots of chrome.
I was rolling a SG
The black and silver denim was her idea as was killing all the chrome. I had to get rid of my bike (ex-wife court bills) so I've basically taken over the 'Luxe. Hench the 21" on the front. Next redo will be a full Vicla (minus chrome) paint job, with hard bags. But I'm not done with this one yet.
Thanks for the windshield pics they helped alot. Got the gears spinning.
CSS FXD, I hear you on the rattle-can paint, some spray like shi# and others work
great. Thanks for the kind words on my bike. One of my buds gave me the shield so
I always wanted to try mounting a shield between the bars. Works fine for me.
Man that Street Glide was AWESOME!! Sorry to see you lost it behind a divorce,
that sucks!! Post some pics of the windshield if you build one. Also keep us posted
with the mods on the Deluxe.
( it's actually about the same as all those short little ****ers riding those big baggers with those huge fairings with the dinky lil shield on top that they can barely see over, except i'm a big tall ****er lol )
