What do you think? I have some ugly bolts/screws showing but I think it looks better. I'd like to get a leather pad to drape over it but don't know where to get one.
Not sure of what your asking, but in the 2010 HD Cat., page 228, item c or d, and page 229, item I is what I used to cover up those ugly holes. Easily removed so I can put on the wifes seat.
I don't have a problem with the chrome and black plugs, it's the huge mounting bolts on the seat that look like they belong on the side of Frankenstein's neck. When I go solo I go C&C.
I run a Corbin solo. No need for those things but..... Before I got it I painted the massive HD screws black just to make em blend in (good try). I dig the solo look as well. I would like an even lower seat just to show off more back fender.
Took the org rear seat and cut it down to make me a backrest out of it that matched the bags, for solo riding only.
Its great for back support, I tried to ride with only a fender bib but when I got on her I felt like I was going to sliding off, the stock seat isn't deep enough.
So this helped in more way than one...
I run the HD fender bib when solo, which is most of the time. You can buy aftermarket hold downs for that stock seat that are way smaller. I got some from Mustang.
