I like doghair's comment...thats normally what I do ...being courteous to my sleeping neighbors. I suppose normal warm up is when you start to feel warmth from the air breather area. Although so many times warm ups never happened...every body taking off like a bat out of hell

I like to let mine warm up a minute or so before I hop on, then try to take it easy for the next few minutes, then just let her go!!

Well my beast is hard to start when cold. However, after i push in the compression releases and get that bad boy started I will let it run for about 2 minutes while I put my gear on. I have a 95 flstc and its carbed. so yea its cold collared but runs great after about 2 or 3 minute warm up
