Question safety

Queston about over loading my bike-09 Fatboy. I'm a small guy (yea, right). I put my bike towards the moco recommended limit. When my wife is on, you might say we are over the limit. Does this really give me a reason for concern? I make sure the tire psi is correct for 2-up, and I change the shocks for the load. The latter a pain in the **** to change constantly, even with the correct tool from moco. I'm wanting to change to air shocks. Will this make it safer for an over-load or should I just get a tri-glide?

you can carry 466 extra over the bike weight. if you are talking 500 i would not be concerned. 600 or more total i would not ride 2 up

wife and I go 415 and its mostly me (she's watching). handles and ride fine and has for three yrs.. did have the stock shock's tightened up for heavier load when new.. almost too firm for solo riding, but great for 2 up...
bottomed out till they readjusted them.
