so essentially they want $1400.. for a $320 part (plus cost of pegs and stuff, but even the PM full kit is only 900)
Look..if you're not happy with the floorboards, there's several kits out there to switch. It's really NOT that hard.. a few bolts here, a bit of loctite there, and you're done.
Is it safe? It's not less safe than having floorboards on. Whatever your preference is. I guess they're worried about the pegs scraping..but if you're not scraping your floorboards now, you're about as likely to scrape your pegs. That's probably why it says it won't fit the FLSTFB. Soo.. can you make it work? sure, anything's possible.

thanks.
I put the whole Bagger-Tail setup on my wife's bike. The filler panels are a little narrower than I'd like in the rear, but that may be due to them being designed for 98-13 saddlebags, but it still looks decent.
Anyway, I bought trucklite phase 7 headlights and now need new visor trim rings. Looking at the Harley catalog, I can't figure out which visor trim ring fits our bikes with the stock housing. They all say w/ Nacelle? What does that mean and have they made the French ring in black? I have the 2015 catalog and am looking for the part number or a link to buy 2.
Second, I am looking to change my bars out with a set of BR Custom's 10-12" New Waves. The dealer quoted me $427 for a new set of cables and I was wondering if that's what everyone else is paying or if you are using a comparable aftermarket set. $1000 for new bars, installed by me, seems a little steep, or am I wrong?
I had the wife's bike lowered 2 inches and all be damned if it doesn't look a little sleeker than mine! I have a stage one with Bassani Road Rage exhaust and I love the sound now. Ill gets some picks up as soon as I get the required number of post.
Thanks in advance for the advice that I am sure will come, and yes I did try the search function; sometimes that can be a test of patience
