yeah it's looking that way. rode my bike last saturday when it was 60 out. on sunday when i woke up it was snowing. the saying here in delaware is, what's the weather, wait 10 minutes and look..it's always changing
Zip tie the brake lever so it is applying some pressure. Leave it over night and all the air will come up through the master cylinder.
This seems to have done the trick! Lever is nice and firm now. I still get a little "swish" noise if I pull the lever sharply... Hard to tell where it's coming from. Can anyone tell me if that's normal on an ABS bike? It doesn't do it with a normal pull of the lever, just a sudden one.

You dont need brakes. Just get a pair of boots with really sticky soles. youll be fine. trust me. I've seen a doctor.
what was the question? about being normal on an ABS bike, or something i missed previously? I can't really answer that because i don't have ABS :'( sorry
ABS on a bike is new to me as well, not 100% on how to deal with them either. I am glad I do not need to touch them yet. I guess some research is in order.

Can't really say I've heard anything like that on my bike before and I'm always slamming on the brakes for some reason or another, if for no other reason, than just to keep me and the abs system honest.
I haven't heard it when riding with all of the other noises going on. Just if I pull the lever sharply while the bike is off in the garage.
Everything seems to be working fine and the ABS does its normal self test and the light goes out (that might be different on newer bikes than earlier ones with ABS...), so I'm under the impression all is well.
