I haven't heard it when riding with all of the other noises going on. Just if I pull the lever sharply while the bike is off in the garage.
Everything seems to be working fine and the ABS does its normal self test and the light goes out (that might be different on newer bikes than earlier ones with ABS...), so I'm under the impression all is well.
Swish noise you hear is most likely coming from the reservoir. Every time you pull the lever it jets a squirt into the reservoir. I have heard it before, actually seen it when spit at me when I changed the brake fluid on my last bike. As long as you have put the proper level of fluid into the reservoir you will be fine.
Freak show, some guys pay a lot for that. Then again, it's always nice seeing women so that to/with each other in those short 5-10 minute Internet "videos" haha.
Anyone with ABS brakes that hasn't already experienced what it feels like when the system is invoked is well advised to simulate an emergency stop to experience the sensation that results... so that you don't react inappropriately (like releasing the brakes) in the event of actual very sudden and necessary braking.
Went ahead and put on a custom dynamics LED tail light. I have the LED signals on order so I will swap them out when they show up.
Went for a chilly ride (upper 40's and windy as hell). I need to invest in some cold weather gear for when it's below 50. A hoodie and jeans doesn't seem to do a lot. Haha.
Took a couple pics when I got back home just for fun.
Mother, you are too funny. 45-50 F is our fall riding temp. I put on the heated vest around 40 F. I only dream to ride year round. It was 45 here the other day and if the roads were not full of rocks and salt, I would have hopped on and taken off...LMFAO...
rode my bike last saturday, it was 58 out. it was good till it got cloudy and looked like it was gonna rain. today it snowed it's *** off. won't be riding again for a few more weeks i'm sure, but we have a huge bike show coming on the 13 which will calm the nerves for a little while.
Yeah, yeah, I know Florida has made me a wimp. Haha. Really, it's all about the gear though. If I had a proper leather jacket and some lined jeans or some long underwear I'd be good to go down to 40 or so.
