Is it me or is there going to be a Lo rally happening in the near future?

Wow sooo many Lo owners.. I bought mine in March 2010, and no one I rode with even knew it existed.. When they saw mine (stock), they were like "Wow Harley Made this?!?!" I have so many idea of things I want to do with mine, and almost all of them I've seen on this thread alone. Kinda mixed about that, since 1) I'm not wealthy enough to really "customize" my bike, but at the same time I want to do things that make it unique, and 2) I'm not skillful enough to start shaping my own sheetmetal into different forms to make my own parts.

Dave your bike looks awesome, even with the fairing on it.. but I was curious where you got that swingarm bag? I was looking at a few from LeatherWorks (the 312L) but I can't judge how big they actually would be in person from the images..

I think it was written in this thread already, but now there's 126 pages and I can't remember which one it was on, but with the StreetSlammer bars.. do you need to replace all of the cables? I would like to keep the bars as clean looking as possible, and keep the cables all tight to the bars, but I'm not sure if the stock ones would be long enough to reach. And on that topic, does anyone know the banjo angles for the cables? or the length that are needed? I suppose since they're all the same price I could probably just ask my dealer too.. hmm.

Okay i'm dragging this on too long. Anywho, I'm amazed at what all of you guys (and girl, Flagirl) have done with your Lo's.. Hopefully one day mine, too, will be worth some notoriety.

Sgt_Jim,

Mine's not decked out with all the goodies, but I still think it looks good. I've got a couple "custom", bolt on things on it, but nothing crazy. I'm not going to go crazy with it until it's at least paid off!! But, when you get a chance, lets see some pics of yours. We always like pictures, especially of the Lo's.

Here's a few updated ones of mine:

Hello all

Picked up my Fat Boy Lo in Denim Black Saturday. Love the bike.

Late to this thread party, however I read all 120+ pages. Awesome rides and the input here had a small role in my decision...along with plenty of mod inspiration.

I have ordered a fender bib & a swing arm bag. The rear passenger pegs were removed 10 minutes after bringing the scoot home, as was the passenger pllion...I only ride alone.

I'm also in need of a laydown tag mount, probably gonna go with a curved type like the Custom Chrome or Milwaukee Twins...and a laydown tail light lens.

There will also probably be future mods like a set of V&H big radius 2N2 or short shots 2n2.

Love the new scooter...the 96 is strong...the 6 speed is smooth.

I'll post up a few pics when I get him together....yes, him. I told the wife she looked like a keeper...she replied nothing "she" about this bike. God I love this woman.

Mine is still pretty stock, like I said I don't have alot of money for things. The economy is tough. My girlfriend bought me the smoked turn signal lenses, and I've put a set of V&H big shots staggered on her..

I'll tell ya the things I want to do though..

Powder coat:
Forks
Brake Rotors
Primary Cover

Change out:
Speedo to the digital speedo/analog tach.. p/n 74717-10
Flush mount fuel caps
Kuryakyn Laydown Taillight
Get some nut covers (Haha!) for the axle nuts
change the levers to some wide black ones
Kuryakyn laydown license plate frame
and put the StreetSlammer bars on..

I was looking to find a swingarm bag so I can take an overnight bag without having to wear a backpack... I'd like to change out the air filter cover, but do something where I can take that "Fat Boy, 96 Cubic Inch" circular insert and keep that on there, because that's important to me and for when people look at it.

I figure if I start off there, it'll be a good lead, then I can do more down the road.
