Hey Cap'n Morgan. Here's my FB Lo in Silver Pearl w/ V&H Slip ons.
Hey, thanks alot for responding, your bike looks amazing! This most definitely helps put my mind at ease, sure was nervous about buying one before seeing it, but I was pretty sure it would look good, and as your pic shows, it most definitely does. I have seen so many in denim and vivid black, it's great to see one in another color. I was lookin at some slip ons and was originally going to go with the Screamin Eagle ones, but those V&H look great! Really like the chrome accents on the tips. May have to check them out. Is it just how the picture is taken, or is your tank emblem slightly different than the usual one I see? You have any more plans for you bike in the future?

I agree it looks great and I really like the V&H slip-ons, I didn't even think of them. I would go with those or the Rush that I have on my bike.
The Screamin Eagles are not much louder than stock because of CA emissions.
If you live in new England like I do and have to go thru noise inspections, try the Rush 1.75 slip-ons, they have a nice rumble and won't be racking up any tickets!
i wonder what is lounder the rush slip 2 inch baffle or the vance-hines slip on . i wish i saw the vance-hines slip on mufflers i would of got them. i have the 2 insh slip on rush the sound is ok i WISH they were louder lol. the vance hines look preety cool. thank you people
What about Rinehart? They are much cheaper... But are they any good? There is a possiblity I may be buying a house when I get back also so the customization budget may be severely cut...
I have just had all my gloss black bits matt powder coated, to fit in with the denim black better.
but for a more agressive look and had coarse matt powder coating, im so happy with the way it looks.
I have also done the seat frame, rear indicators, belt guard etc.

Looks good, man. That's what I'm going for: Everything blacked out, flat/denim. The one exception I would like would be for the engine itself to be diamond cut chrome and maybe the spokes too. But I'd be pretty happy with the stock anyway so that would be on the bottom of my list of things to do. I want it simplified from the profile (side plate, toned down signals, etc. All I'm getting from the dealer before pick up is the V&H 2 into 2 big radius. I'll weigh rattle can vs powder coat when I take it to a local guy.

Nice work! Great minds think alike! I just sent the same parts out

I think their was an eliment of cost cutting done when they brought out the black denimm
They stole parts painted in gloss black and fitted them, so what you end up with is a miss match of colour.
Now when I take it out the same ole conversation has stopped about people seeing gloss and matt paint together.
All we need is a little weather now, as its turning cold.
