Thanks...Can you tell me what turn signal relocation kit your purchased? I can not find it anywhere, and my dealer is clueless....

The only parts you need are a couple of studs, I think they were 5/16 fine thread, about 1.5" long (same as the thread in the signal housing)

You'll need to slide the tank back to get to the plug for the signals. Once you unplug it, you'll need to dismantle the end to pull the wires through the handlebars. (the plug won't fit) You'll have to dismantle the handlebar switch housings too (to get the wires out) and take the chrome swivel brackets off the signal housings.

Remove the lower windshield mount bolt (assuming you have the quick release hardware on the bike) it's the bottom bolt on the metal side strip holding the tin to the upper fork (it's the same thread as the signal...hence the studs)

I bottomed out the stud with locktite in the fork hole, then screwed the signal housing directly on, I had to use washers to space the signal out and get it to face forward when the threads tighened up (used two on one side, three on the other)

After that, you can just tuck the wires under the tin and route them back under the tank. (I drilled holes in the tin and used grommets to run the wires through for a cleaner look)

Spent most of the day yesterday on my Lo. After about 6 hours of off and on riding my a## started hurting. Has anyone changed their seat to something a little more comfortable? I actually think the seat is pretty comfy when I first start out for the day. Afte a few hours, though....

Yep, that stock seat is ok until you ride more than 4 or 5 hours. I put a sundowner on mine and Like it much much better.

Sailrider, do you have a picture of your bike with the Sundowner on it? I want the comfort, but I also have a certain look I'm trying to keep. I'll post some pics of my ride soon as I find time to take some.
I was looking at the Mean City Cycles website. They claim to take your stock seat and make it much more comfortable. Does anyone have experience with them? I'll be putting my bike away for the winter this month. I would have all winter to send my seat to them for a rework.

Had the same problem Toledo.
I put a mustang vintage super touring seat on mine and love it.
Changing the bars to a more upright ride helps too.

change the bars first. Sitting up straight made ALL THE DIFFERENCE to me. The seat's not an issue anymore.

Lots of great looking rides in this thread!
Just picked up an '010 Lo a couple months ago and love it.

Gloss black lowers and tin.
Floating front rotor.
HD sissy bar and rack.
HD windshield (I know.. )
