I most definitely will on both suggestions. Put the money into more horsepower and a shorter windshield than the 1 that was already on it. Engine upgrade will come 1st and then different seat and mini boards for the wife
None of my business wmc , but I bet life would be a lot happier if you did that plan in reverse. I've been married going on 40 yrs to the same blood sucking shrew (joking), so I kinda know something on this subject.
I hear ya. Been married 26 yrs. Fixed the whole delima today lol. Went to the local Harley dealership and traded the Fatboy in on a 2013 ultra CVO 110 with full touring pack. Even has heated seats. She's happy and I got a super tuned and canned cvo. It's not a Fatboy Lo and I am gonna miss style for sure but this way I don't have to put anything into but gas and time in the seat with a happy wife riding with me. Thanks for all the input guys. These are great forums with good people for sure
hey, he did what was right for him and bought what he really wanted or needed. or didn't he say this was his first harley, so maybe he just doesn't have it figured out yet and someone at the dealership talked him into it. maybe it was an impulse buy, who knows
mine either, when she wants to go for a ride i just put the back and back rest on and go. when we're done i take them back off. Here's a picture of it before i added the bars and other stuff
It was for the wife's comfort. It's a nice bike but I know I am going to miss the Fatboy. This is my 3rd Harley . I can honestly say that if I had been by myself I probably wouldn't have pulled the trigger
I picked up my bike yesterday from the 1k service and a few odds and ends installed. The one thing i forgot to talk to them about was the rear shocks. Reading the FSM it seems they are set for max load from the factory. Can anyone provide insight? Reading the different threads i end up with a headache as they indicate that they are at max and also others say at the lightest.
