I have some items that are true chrome and want to make them satin. Anyone done it?
are you talking about the aluminum pieces that are on our bikes? primary cover, tranny cover, cam cover, etc? or are you talking about taking something chrome and PC'ing it something else? because I had the top of my triple tree's and the bolts to go with it done black and they were chrome..
i finally got my one piece harley sissy bar for my 2010 fatboy lo i really like the look of it. the pictures i saw here the sissy bar looked tall not really tall at all. matches the bike well.

Did you end up grinding off the ends to make it fit, or do the tailight relo? I have mine on order and want to try grinding first. I don't like the look of the relocated lights.
Have to agree there.. here's a Custom Lo I prefer a little more. (cept' I'm not a big fan of spoke tires) LOVE what he did with the back fender and license plate though.

I like the looks of that rear fender and the turn indicators as well; however, I still want to be able to haul around something. One of the other forum members has some front turn indicators built into the handle bars that looks pretty cool too.

My exhaust has 3 chrome heat shields and I want them to match the satin chrome like the primary cover.
Gonna do as JimsFBL suggested with the sandpaper and if I don't like it...off to the pc'er.
