Just got back into this forum, I was without a bike for a while and just purchased my new money suck... '11 Fat Boy Lo denim black. Best bike I have ever ridden! My V&H 2 into 1's are due this week and next on my list are new handlebars and rear fender replacement. I need some help, I am looking for the lowest black drag bars that will not dent my tank or anything else, looks like a 6" rise will work?? If I go this route, do I need new cables or wiring? Can I install myself and hide the wires (Harley wants to charge 6 hours!!!)?

Another option is "lowdown" bars by Carlini....

I'm running the Wild1Chubbys. They gave me 14.5" of pullback and they're the best mod I've done so far. But yes...HD charged me for 6 hours of work and I needed all new cables to do it. I tried to do it myself at first...but the internal wiring was a deal breaker.
If you read through this thread there's lots of info on changing bars, enjoy the search and it might save you a lot of money on the bars but cost you more with all the added mod ideas
