the part number is 71248-00A and it's about $70, though the other post is right, you could just remove yours and powder coat.
Update: If anyone is considering buying this part from HD.....be aware that the it is a part that will fit the Lo but NOT made for it. What does that mean?.....Well the model it is made for has a small push button on the side of the console to change the odometer to trip etc. Since on the Lo these functions are controlled on the hand controls you will have nothing to fill this hole. It is big enough to fit a pencil through and very visible.
I guess you could use a fender plug or something but if you are a stickler for the details.....like me.....just PC your own.
Hope this is helpful......I learned it after a 40 min drive to pick one up....
it's for the NightTrain, but only the 2011+ models have those controls on the bars, my 2010 has the button on the console.. you could just go to Ace or Lowes or something and get a rubber button filler to plug it.. Or, if you have a garage you could check out the "install a garage door opener" thread on this forum and actually have a button there..

Ahhhh. The 2010 still has the button on the side, you must have a 2011. There is a rubber boot that you can get from the dealer. The switch and boot are like 15 bucks all together. Think I saw it in a thread about wiring up a garage opener under the console. I'll look for the thread when I'm not on my iPad laying in bed daydreaming about riding.
Nope..but i DID get a Laconia HD tshirt.. a friend of mine was just on vacation up there with his family..said it was absolutely gorgeous and all the roads are just meant to have bikes on them.. though i'm not going this year, i'm going to have to eventually
I just bought my fatboy lo yesterday. Bone stock right now but that will change shortly. I sold my nightster that I had almost totally redone, (it was nice) but I'm excited about this bike I love it stock and its only gonna get better as I add my touch. I got the silver one too
