I like that fender but it won't work with factory lighting or a detachable backrest. I'm either gonna stretch mine or get the extended fender from dragonfly.
Alright boys, here it is..... Finally got the bags and the crash bar on... I think it looks awesome. The only thing I think it needs is an extended rear fender. I am in the process of working on that, but I think it'll probably be winter before I complete that mod.
Wow man that looks soooooo good! Wish I had money for those bags. Slam it and do a 21" wheel next. Man that's sharp!

Actually the whole bag project wasn't too bad. I was able to get the cyclevisions brackets and fillers for 200, bags were 400 and paint was 150. Total cost 750. Not bad considering just the bags from the stealer are 1299.
I have been reading this thread for a while now and I'm loving all the different styles that these bikes are being made into. I read this thing like a mini-blog everyday. I just picked up my silver 11' Lo last week and thought I would introduce myself.
Also, if anyone knows where the best price is on a pair of black shortshots, I'd love to know. I know some people knock on them, but I love the way they look and they're a tremendous value.
Bike looks good man... I like the underneath mirrors and fender but the fender gap is a little undesireable for me...is there anyway to get rid of that? Were the mirrors meant to be underneath or did you just put them that way?
Thanks bro
On the mirrors I just flipped them. I saw another member that had the Arlen Ness Cat Eye's flipped, thats where I got the idea. As far as the fender goes, I will be putting the Shotgun air ride on soon and from what I've seen you can slam the fender down right on top of the tire.

Welcome,
I may have my Short Shots and race tuner for sale in a week or so. I'm waiting on a custom exhaust from Exotic Choppers. Shoot me a PM if interested, I'll be out of pocket for a few days, working in the desert's of NM and west Tx.

Hey man, congrats! You'll love the bike. And the great thing about the silver one is that you are very unlikely to see anther one. Out of the hundreds (guessing) that have posted on this thread, you are now #6 with the silver...

Welcome to the Lo club.
Enjoy the new ride. I think I have almost as much fun putting new parts on as I do riding.
