It hits the back floor board bracket. The floor board won't tip up like before
I would remove the pipes and start over keeping everything straight.. something's not right there, whether the floorboard is crooked, or the pipes are mounted wrong..even with my BSS's, there was tons of room to lift the floorboard up, and they're basically the same pipe, but the shortshots are um..shorter.
Hello everyone. I have been following this thread since I got My FatBoy Lo in November. There are many nice bikes posted here, and lots of helpful info, so thanks everyone. I have been traveling for work pretty much since I got my Lo, but I am home now, and finally got to do some mods. I still have more to do. Here are some pics.
Nice looking bike man, have one ? Hard to see but what tank emblem is that

Anyone know how the red was put on these rims- paint?
After wheels were preped, the stripe was painted on first, then it was taped off and then the black was applied. The paint has a hardner mixed in. Final coat was a clearcoat. This was done this way so that the stripe is in the paint and not on it.
Thanks. I bought them at my local HD dealer, it is a HD logo, black and chrome soft decal, about 1/16" thick.
Looks pretty good, I've been searching the net for a dark custom logo emblem for my tank with no luck, found a company to make them, but 300 seems a lot for just two emblems but would look bad ***, I may look into getting a few people who want them for a bigger order and split the cost, the first one is the most expensive, a $125 dye set up fee
