Hey Guys I snapped a few pics today of the Lo today out in the sun. Figured id post them. Took them with my wifes new Nikon D7000. I suck at photography though
I have a queston for everyone that has put bags on your Lo.
Id like to get a set of saddle bags for my low. Iv been looking at the Leather Pros LP4000 bags.
Have any of you been successfull in installing saddle bags without relocating the rear turnsignals? I hate the thoughts of wasting money on a signal reloaction kit. I like the looks and location of the stock signals. The relocation kits all look like crap to me. Honestly id rather just remove the rear signals all together as signal are not required on motorcycles in NC.
What are your thoughts? Do all saddle bags on the Lo require moving the signals? Are there bags that will work with the stock signal locations?

As far as bags go you don't need to relocate the turn signals off of the fender strut. At least not with easy brackets. With harley bags you would need what they call a relocation kit. It doesn't move the turn signals it just uses a straight bolt instead of the sort if winged thing that the turn signals mount to. If that makes sense. The size of the bags is really the biggest factor in determining whether or not you need to move the signals off the struts. If you get rid of them entirely you may run into problems with the electrical system since from what I've heard you can have issues with the check engine light
I had to pull the tank but the white/black wire on the right side harness was the culprit. I am rolling once again and with the sweet new slammers! running tail lights still not on so if anyone can point me in the right direction on that one I would appreciate it. Happy to be rolling once again. Too bad it's rain all day in VA.

After reading some other forums I question if my 2010 lo should have running lights in the rear. Can anyone tell me if their rear indicators act as running lights as well? My front do and are working fine but some have mentioned that the rears are single element bulbs and do not act as running lights.

I have a 10 as well and they're not running light, you can buy a kit from Harley and the after market to make them running lights and brake light as well, but a word of caution I bought the Harley kit installed it and it got too hot and melted my lenses, I just orderd 1156 led bulbs to install, I'm hoping they run cooler and hoping I can just install without getting a load equalizer, I'm getting mixed thoughts on running them, crossing my fingers

Thanks man! That's all I needed to hear. Handlebar assembly complete and all systems go. I just wanted to make sure all loose ends were tied up. PIA but now that I'm rolling it's a great feeling. Saved over 1K by taking on the project.
