Santa brought the little lady a bike for Christmas. She sat on one at the dealer a few weeks ago. At 5ft tall, she is flat foot with the reach seat. Pulled the trigger on Saturday. They were eager to deal for the end of the year.
Not much done yet. Parts on order. She is already planning to add a little pink to girly her up. God help us all. Lol. Will be sending a few parts in to be powder coated before spring. We will post pictures when the transformation is complete.
Now, if the 14 inches of snow on the ground would melt so we can ride........
There used to be a forum member here a few years ago who had a Lo with a lot of Pink on it, she never posted in this thread, but i remember seeing it in others.. though I haven't seen any posted by her in quite a few months now
Hello and Happy 2013.
I was checking this forum from time to time, and found it quite inspiring. So now that I just registered, I wanted to say hi and introduce myself...I'm a new Harley owner, coming from metric bikes. got a 2012 brand new Lo, and couldn't be any happier with. Already put a 1k miles, since winter has been clement so far. Well sort of... This is where I' m at ( hopefully I will be able to attach a pic) Lola Lo comes with ABS, and before the stage 1 i opted for Rush slip on 2.0 ( decell popping despite changing gaskets, clamps etc) Lepera Bare Bones solo+ pillion (hard at first but it gets better, and actually didn't have to put any floorboard ext - i'm 6.3 195 lbs and 33 inseam) swing arm bag, and other minor cosmetic things... Trying to figure out if I really like the nacelle and which headlight i like the best LED or the passing lights. Will definitely put a crash bars since cagers and cabbies are a true nightmare here in NY... Little by little. Wanted to say thanks for inspiring me with your posts and photos. I'm definitely learning quite a bit
Cheers!
Going with an old school turn signal mirror stem drag specialties/Arlen Ness used to make.
It's cool because they never sold em in black (but you can modify anything) and they don't make them anymore. So everyone can't have the same crap...
Also dropped off my consul, rocker covers, Mark IV cruise bar and home fabbed side mount to get powder coated gloss black. Should have them early next week.

I had some chrome ones on a bike I did some 10 yrs ago and really wanted some black ones for this. When I went to buy some new ones, I could not find them anywhere. I have no idea when the discontinued them (the stem lights) but sucks they did. They were not a really expensive set like all of them are today either.
