Pretty sick, at first glance I thought it was a night train!

Only way I could tell it was a FB Lo was by the tank badge and floor boards. Big money was spent on this bike.

There's quite a few sets of raking trees for FL front ends, Covington Cycles makes some, but they're not straight black, they're black and silver finned with a 3* rake. At $800 though, too damn expensive... too bad their WHOLE DAMN SITE IS USING FLASH which makes it slow as hell to navigate through.

Sorry, despite being handy with a wrench, i'm actually a profession nerd off of here.

And Seeger cycle makes some with a 4* rake for a more realistic price.

http://www.seegercycle.com/fatboy-he...ple-trees.aspx

And these are even less expensive, but i dont know the name

http://www.casscountychoppers.com/faq11.html

and lastly:
http://hawghalters.com/triple-trees/.../prod_455.html

that make a 4* rake and 6* rake... 6* would be pretty sick. But keep in mind that you have to extend your forks or put some stiffer springs in to keep the bike level, otherwise the front end will start dipping down

It's just taking me a little time to process. Unfortunately, it's cold as ***** here this week so I can't really get back on the horse. A few good light rides through normal city streets in the sunshine would do wonders for this biker's soul right now. As soon as I can.
Trust me brother - you have to get back on the horse - sooner is better than later. (Take a look at my signature line.)

2005, Riding to work, side streets, about 5 minutes away from the office when a semi truck decided to merge into my lane. I was halfway between the front & back of it. Anyway - there was no place to bail out, so I locked it up, fishtailed, and went down. (The last thing I remember was thinking to myself, "This is gonna hurt.") I don't think I was doing more than 40.

Anyway - the trucker never saw me - and kept right on driving.

After waking up on the road, with a line of cars behind me, I pulled myself up, dusted myself off, picked up my 99 Fatboy, and pushed her to the side of the road - yelling obscenities the whole time that would have made the guys I was in the Army with blush.

Long story short - broken ribs, bruised liver, bruised kidney, collapsed lung, and my spleen basically exploded. I guess when I went down, the handlebars caught me under the rib cage.

The girl I was dating at the time had an 04 Heritage - and after a week in the hospital, and a week on the couch - I rode it around the block.

People thought I was crazy - but I had to do it.

I still think about it all the time - realizing that I was about as lucky as a guy could be to NOT be "looking up at a lawn mower."

It gets easier.

I'd rather live the way I want to live, and do the things that I love than spend my time worrying about "what if?"

Besides - chicks dig scars! Haha.

Ride on man - but say a prayer every time you saddle up. I do.
