Bill-- i wait for the day when you post something like "so i was walking towards my bike and forgot those were on there, caught my shin on them and now im bleeding profusely" haha pretty wild though.
so im working from home today, not feeling well so didn't feel like going to work, luckily i can remote-log in.. glad i did, i go outside to get the main (11*F here right now), and almost trip over a huge box from fuelmoto.. my heads finally came back..yeay. now i just need to move my computer to the dining room where the bike is, so i can work on work, and work on the rest of the motor, too :-D
Yeah, those things are sharp. We'll see how long it takes for me to run into them. I should probably make covers out of leather to fit over them while working on the bike. You know the first time I have a wrench slip, my arm or elbow will come down on those.
Got to do the rear cylinder rockers/rocker boxes, pushrods, reattach the coil, air cleaner, gas tank, put my exhaust back on (which will be a while, have to send a piece of it out to get re-ceramic coated).. then I'm done. woo.
Well its time for new tires! I got 4,100 miles out of the OEM Dunlap HD tires, sitll have a little tread left. What tire replace's do you guys recomend? I really like the Metzeler ME 880 Marathon's, any imput on those tires?
