FYI, they don't come in black, I painted mine. Get the raw finish so you don't have to deal with chrome.
I ordered them PCd black from ghost rider customs... It is the only thing I am waiting on to get my bike back together. I would just throw on another set, but I have a softy custom as well, so it's not like I can't ride

Another snag... Went to button up a few odds and ends this morning... Put a new Barnett HE stealth clutch cable on when I had it apart, so I just went to adjust the play out of the cable, and there are not enough threads in the adjustment housing to get it tight. If I do get it tight enough, the threads are no longer engaged, obviously leaving nothing for the lock nut to lock in place!
Called Dennis Kirk where I ordered it from, and although the lady was nice, she said I would have to speak to techs who work during the week only... I said, I know HOW it works, but this cable doesn't work! Anyway, should be an easy fix as soon as I talk to them on Monday.
Does anyone know how long the threads are supposed to be?
Now that I am back in town for a few weeks...time to get som more stuff done to the bike. Just threw on the rest of the diamond blck series floorboards and pegs. I do have the whiskers, but holding off until I get some good rides in on the new seat first. On Monday ordering the tool pouch and tank pouch bib from hogdeluxe to match the c&C seat (no weave or braid). And it frikin snowing agin here ffs!!!!
oh should mention....finally getting my forks swapped to blacked out on the 30th whie its in for its final breakk in dyno tune.

Yeah, but my sig pic is with the old bars. I just got the new ones on yesterday, so no pics yet, but they are 14" gangster 1.5" dia. with high roller risers.
hell ya man cant wait to see them...its like 1.5's were made for the Lo's.
Well I was home this past week and got the bike back together. I put Ricor Intemadators and progressive drop in lowering springs. Dropped it 1.5". I got the new 14" LA chopper apes on and all the new cables run. Only snag was the damn
brake line is too short. I ordered the HD Diamondblack upper brake line for 14-16" apes. Wrong! Damn line is only 34" and I need at least 44" from my measurements. So I am going to order a 44" universal black pearl brake line from Magnumsheilding along with a 35 deg and straight 7/16 banjo fittings. I hope I get it right this time as I don't want to mess around next time I am home. It's time to ride. Any of you guys with ABS and apes let me know if I am about to screw up again. I will post some pics later.
Misbehaven
Do you have the 2012 bars? Are you selling them if you do? Will they make a diffrence then the 2011 bars that is noticable?
The 2012 bars did make a difference they gave me some more pullback and rise over the 2011 bars. I liked them but I decided that I wanted to go with the apes. I still have them and a longer 2012 upper abs brake line as well as a 34" diamondblack Hd brake line. Pm me if interested in them.
