I am looking for a brake light module of some kind that will flash the rear brake light when activated.....I'd prefer that it flash continuously and maybe even alternate the turn signals too.
I use simply the Kuryakyn Super Bright Pulsing bulb. It is part # 925.
It however only flashes the brake. It flashes for the first few seconds and then goes to steady. https://www.kuryakyn.com/index.cfm/g...etail/IMID/758
Have the HD run/turn/brake conversion module on the wife's Deluxe along with the Rear Alert flashing brake light module. The RA which sells on Ebay for about $15 can flash all the rear lights but I have it just flashing the brake 3 times. Has worked fine for over a year now I believe. Same system on my Heritage.
There are integrated units out there that perform all the functions of both modules........I think Kuryakyn may make one.
I have the HD Run/Turn/Brake conversion kit on my Softail and I added the "BACK OFF" Brake / Signal Module into the system. This model can be set to run in two different ways:
MODE ONE:
Emit a visual signal of 3 short light flashes, followed by 1 long light flash (3.5 seconds). The signal automatically repeats itself as long as the brakes are applied. This pattern is not random, but has been selected because of its ability to retain following drivers attention.
MODE TWO:
Emit a visual signal of 5 short flashes, followed by a steady on light that remains steady on as long as the brakes are applied
I personally selected Mode Two...
I have had it for over 3 years with no problems and it's a real attention getter.
