Yeah I thought 16's would be right around shoulder height but they're closer to eye level. I'm glad I didn't opt for 18's because we have a shoulder height law in NY and 18's would be really stretching it. Hopefully the cops won't screw with me to much with the 16"s. I do know the Carlinis run a bit taller then other apes so take that into consideration when ordering your bars.
