So i installed pipes heavy breather and a power commander on my rocker. Bike ran perfect for two weeks. Washed the bike today and went for a ride. Junk it runs like junk. Anyone have any ideas what happened? bike pops on decel when i crack the throttle it falls on its face. Has no excelleration. ANy ideas would be very helpful
I had the same problem with my power commander in Sturgis last summer. It got water in it and it was fried. Installed the Harley racing sert, completely self contained unit. I think it ran me 740.00 with dyno. That was costly mistake!!!
lol thats nice to know. i dont think its fried. if it was fried it wouldnt be running this bad . ive rode my same bike with everything i have done to it without a power commander and it didnt do anything like my bike is doing. i think its just not communication all the way. (HOPEFULLY)
Thanks all. I will do everything i cant really put mine in a bag because of where it is located. I had to put it up in and underneath the fender. Being rockers have NO room for ANYTHING lol.
I wrap / fold the bag tight around the unit and then wrap a couple of bands of electrical tape around that nice and compact + water tight.
Dyno Jet will tell you their unit is water proof but it is not, mine went completely dead twice both times it recovered after drying out for a couple of days.

Underneath the fender??? Why? It fits perfectly next next to the battery. Even room for the autosensors too.
You can put it up under the seat. I just installed a PC5 and have the auto tuners on one side of the battery and the PC5 on the other side of the battery. You have to pull out the battery and battery box to run the wires. It won’t get wet under the seat. There web site has instructions for the Rocker install.
I guess i didnt even look there. I asked around at the local motorcycle shops and they said they always put it in front of the fender. the bike worked itself out over night last night must have just been water in the connnectors. but when i get time i am definitely going to relocate it to by the battery it wil be easier to tune also. Now i have a pc3usb is that the same size as the ones you guys have because i see you have the pc5 it looked like

The pics I posted is a pcv. I went with the pcv because it is soo much smaller and that it has the capabilities of adding an auto-tune feature. Look at the side-by-side comparison picture I attached.
