I just put the V&H BSS on my Heritage with a PC and a Big Sucker with the "quiet" baffles. I had Shortshots on my Dyna and they were MUCH quieter that the BSSs though, for some reason, I thought they'd be quieter, maybe because the ends are further away. I was kinda bummed but, took the advice of DR VTWIN and cured the problem with earplugs. I always wear them anyway but I was having some weird buyer's remorse especially after all the $$ I spent. Then, last Sunday I was riding and a guy pulled up next to me in a SUV at a light and asked what kind of pipes I had. Said they sounded great.
I like 'em a lot better now for some reason.
And, in my opinion, are absolutely the best looking pipes around. Never was a doubt about that. And, I know, there's a lot of pipes that give you more torque and HP but none can beat the look! Congrats!
