I was thinking of powder coating mine black. But mine mount different than yours. It attaches to the handle bars an not the risers. Did you order yours with the riser attachment or they just shipped that way ?

I've got 1-1/4" 1-piece T-bars. These brackets were what shipped when I told the guy at Coolwindshields what kind of bars I was using. I think the bar-mounted brackets are for the drag bars.

Wife an I went for a ride about 60 miles an then to dinner. Windshield made a big difference in the ride an wife said wind was not as bad on her either as she sit higher than I do.

rthomp...what seat do you have on your NT? I still have the stocker brick. Yours looks lower and more comfortable.

Both bikes look good with the Windvest's. One day I'll catch on sale and scoop it up. Till then I'll just be content with my little Tombstone shield.

It's a leather C&C Squareback. Both lower and farther back than the stock Badlander, and a lot more comfortable.

I fabricated some brackets that come off my handlebar clamp to mount my WindVest (www.windvest.com) on my Rocker for long trips. WindVest really does a great job in keeping the wind off my chest and making long trips more enjoyable. I'm sure you'd like it on your Night Train.
