sorry bout all the exhaust threads , cant decide on this , will the big radius work on the springer classic with floorboards? front and back boards? and also any imput on this exhaust , its either this or longshots, i cant decide the big radius looks wicked but i dont know with the ol school look of my bike ? any imputs?
I don't know about the fit of the big radius but I don't think they would look bad on the springer classic at all. I did away with the cross overs on my bike and love the look of my Rinehart flush cuts. I get looks and comments everywhere I go. However I did convert from floorboards to forward controls, which might compliment the look. Check out my gallery for pics. Big radius on the Springer Classic would definitely be a unique style
hey coaster nice lookin ride , ive never rode a bike with forward controls on it , i know i love the floorboards , feels comfortable to me, i like the big radius but the looks in the pic i dont think itll work ? i need to find out, also bud what did that rhineheart setup cost if ya mind? and are those the stock beach style bars that comes on the classic , mine seem smaller.
The rinehart's were about 650 from Eastern Performance. Not cheap but it was the best deal I could find on them. They are listed around 800 everywhere else I looked. The sound is great. Really nice and deep tone for a short pipe at idle. And lots of bark when on the throttle.
The bars are the 1 1/4 inch Harley beach bars. Had them installed by the dealer because I didn't want to mess with the internal wiring. Had them put on braided cables while at it. That was just over 1k for parts and labor... outch! Next time I'd install 'em myself. The majority of the cost was labor. Hope you get some pics up of your bike with your mods! Love to see it!
man vance and hines tech is closed and i want to order the big radius on ebay , good deal on them , wish i could photo shop them on a bike , or make sure they work with floorboards
I guess the more I think about it the more I have to agree that the floorboard / big radius combo might not look so great together. On another note...I've purchased bike parts on ebay before and then re-sold them with a minimal to zero loss again when I decided they didn't work for me after all. Good luck with your decision. In any event you have one of the most beautiful Harleys imo
