I'm considering to change the standard seat on my 2005 deluxe. I'm thinking about 1 C&C lopro solo or a Le Pera Bare Bones. 2. Is the extra gel in the seat worth it? 3. I want to keep the option for the passenger seat. Who can give my some advice what to do.
In the LePera seats, the extra gel does seem to be worth it from all the reviews I've read. I really like the look of the Bare Bones, but that's just me.
Since I don't have one, I don't really know if a passenger pillion is compatible with it or not? Someone else would have to answer that.
All the pics of the C&C I've seen don't look like the the nuts for the mounting of the passenger seat are exposed. Don't know about the LePera. I think the Corbin Solo can use the stock pillion. Mustang of course has plenty of options.
I think I'm going to end up with a Mean City Cycles refit of my stock seat. Plus, I'm pursuing the Heritage Springer rail with a backrest pad.
