Is there anyone that can tell me what my problem is?
I just installed Vance & Hines short shot pipes, a SE Heavy Breather, and the Power Commander V. After installing all this I went on a 20 mile test ride. All was good until I was pulling back into the neighborhood. It just shut off and it wouldn't crank back up. I let it sit for about 15 minutes and finally got it to crank back up. Any thoughts?
Just called PC and they had me hook my computer up to the bike and it was showing 3% throttle at idle. He said that was the problem and had me put it to 0. I will test it out tomorrow and see how it does.
Well I am saying the PCV is a P.O.S. I was out test riding it today and it stalled once again. I had to push it to a gas station down the road to top off the gas. It started again up again and I was trying to make to the HD dealership and it stalled again. So I was so fed up I disconnected to PCV hooked all the stock Fuel Management back up and it started up first try. So I ended up making it to the stealer and now I'm get the SERT.
Try the TTS Mastertune man, it has great reviews. Do a search on it and read up.
I just ordered one myself, got it for $400 brand new including shipping to Canada which is about $30. I am pacing the floor waiting for the delivery truck to show up, lol...
I did a pipe and filter change , tried one of those plug in programmers . Bike ran terrible ,took off programmer . bike runs great . I am waiting for cams than I am doing full tune on dyno with master tune. I would say get it dyno tuned. worth the $$
I have the bike in the shop now getting the SERT. I have a PCV for sale if anyone is interested. The people at Dynojet say its just the map that was causing the problem so if anyone is intersted in trying it out PM me.
