Quick Detach Pillion Question
I've got the quick detachable passenger pillion on my Heritage and when I ride as a solo seat, the fender has the hole for the mounting screw right out there in the open. I guess it's not that big of a deal, but the look of it bothers me a little. The bolt on the pillion has a locking spring so it's not really removable. What do you guys do? Can I get an additional screw or possibly something decorative to cover it?

Your HD dealer should have a thumbscrew with logo that fits as well as a chromed plastic plug that also covers the hole in the fender.

I have a 1/4x28 chrome hex screw with a chrome pop on cover on it.I used to have a spike from a liscense plate bracket on there but some wonderful individual stole it.No biggie...$4.95 for a set of 2 at the local big dog dealer.

Mine has one too....didn't even know it until I was taking off the bracket (cause HD did not put one on the new seat...they say "reuse it") for the new passenger seat and saw it under there....
