rush slip ons fitment issue

I put the slash down on my 09 fatboy in about 45 min. without any problems. Now I wish I could find some 2" baffles for them at a fair price.

Yet another person with the same problem... Wow.

I'd add the 2nd bolt if it was me...just hog out one of the holes in the bracket with a dremel...

did your bike come factory with 4 bolts holding the pipes on?

3 yrs ago though I had a bolt hole prob too untill I reallized I had the bolt tight on the support that holds the 2 together and holds them on,losen it up and all 4 fit perfect,think it was a 1/2 hex head between the muffs...

Absolutely. Which means the only thing holding one of your factory mufflers on was the clamp.

I would get one started (for one muffler) and leave it loose, then try the other one...no luck...whether I tried the front or rear first. It was off 1/16...which does not seem like a lot...but thats what I had to grind out to get them to work.
