I'm no expert on either but have looked at both models while I was still looking for a streetbob,,Deuce was nice but would have got the 08 NT if I would have had the extra cash..more cubes than the Deuce,200 Rear Tire, six speed .Most people here junk the bars and fit 10"-12" apes.
couple of pics..I'm 6' and think they're an ok fit.
Yeah what they all said up there. I'm about 5'9"/5'10" 170lbs. Right out of the box the Train was a little uncomfortable...added pullback risers & the bike fit like a glove. Got APES now though. Go with the Train, no disrespect to the Deuce guys on here.
Son bought a new Deuce in 07, but after learning that lots and lots of HD parts fits (everything but the Deuce)
He soon tired of that and traded in for a 09 NT.
He can ride the NT a little longer than the Deuce, still neither is made for road trips. He's 5''11' 190 and solid, lifts and works out. Still 1 1/2 hr ride is most he'll do without pain with stock bars and seat.
Some do it but without mods the many will be sore after riding 1 1/2 hr or longer.
Pullbacks or higher bars (mini apes) would probably help a bunch,
I've got an 07 train and love it. I don't mind the riding position and am about 5'10" as well. I might try some risers on the drag bars at some point though to see how they feel.
this was mine stock....haven't changed too much. Just little things here and there, but the availability of parts is pretty staggering.
