Saddlebag relocation bracket doesn't fit
I'm putting passenger footboards on my 06 Heritage Classic. My shop ordered the saddlebag relocation kit as required for my bike. I'm trying to install the relocation bracket to the frame and under the footboard bracket (the one that fits around the swingarm bolt) and the relocation bracket is formed such that it will not fit properly. I again checked all the part numbers and everything appears to be correct. Has anybody else had this problem and if so, what might be the problem? Thanks in advance!

The relocation bracket is installed on the inside of the frame member(wheel side). It is held on with a nut to the bolt that attaches the floorboard bracket.i.e. attach the floorboard bracket to the frame, then slip bag relocate bracket on the bolt and thread on nut. Also note that the floorboard brackets are left and right sides. Instructions for that kit are pretty vague, but once you do it , no big deal. And ya don't have to remove the bags to do this install.
