New to forums. Looks like a great place to get some good advise, so here is my question.
I am looking to purchase a new seat for my 2000 Softail Springer. My wife intends to ride on the back "on occasions". These rides would day rides to local events.
I have checked out Mustang Vintage Wide Tour but that 14" rear seat just seems to be huge. Not into the Corbin look. I have been looking at the C&C Sport Tour. Anybody have any experience with that model and/or any pics on their softail? Any other maker to suggest?
Thanks.
You're right. The 14" pillion is a monster but it's like sitting on a sofa. I was originally going to go with the 11" simply because I thought the 14" would interfere with opening my bags. The vendor was out of the 11's so I had to go with the 14. Found there was no opening problems and the wife loves if. It only goes on when we ride 2 up with isn't very often. I also have the 17.5" Mustang seat with the backrest.
Not the best picture but may give you some idea:
