You can tell a girl in a bar whatever you want to.... but it doesn't change the fact that you are mistaken.... anyone well versed in Harley-Davidsons and the Parts & Accessories catalog will know...

That bike would not come from the factory with a Vance & Hines exhaust.... nor would the MoCo sell a paint set called, "Devils Tails" in the Parts & Accessories Catalog, as ThePaintPirate has shown you, if those colors were used on a factory special edition....

You cannot change the fact that it is a "Special Edition paint set", on a 2005 Harley Fat Boy, with a ton of Harley Parts & Accessory Catalog "Willie G" baubles....

There is absolutely nothing wrong with that... Many people do that type of customizing... I am not trying to diminish the look of the motorcycle, or the satisfaction you could get from it...

But to claim it is a "Factory Special Edition motorcycle" all stock from the factory and they made 200 only..... is just not accurate.... and would be deceptive if someone tried to sell it as such...

Someone either misunderstood when they told you "Special Edition paint set", or someone was intentionally lying along the way...


It is a nice Fat Boy... but you will only look a little foolish if you keep pushing that inaccurate claim...
