I'm getting a different quote everytime I call in to a HD dealer. Even the same dealer is giving me a different number on a different day. I'm just curious what is a reasonable cost.
The cost is usually based on the projected labor times estimated time to complete the job. Most car dealers and in my exeperience HD dealers use a book that gives industry standards for doing a job. So, ask the dealer what the labor rate is and the estimated time to do the job.
I just put the PC-5 in a 2010 fat boy. It really is not bad at all. Took maybe 25 minutes or so. The air cleaner is a 20 minute job and super easy. The pipes around an hour to hour in a half or so. It is easier if you have two people doing the pipes.
