Default Questions...

Has anyone with a grey engine, swapped out and gone to black covers? I have tried to search, but unfortunately, only certain pics come up here in Afghanistan. I only have a couple weeks left and when I get home, I plan on doing some mods. Really curious about rocker covers, cam covers, transmission covers, primary cover, etc... Thanks for any info you can provide, but even better any pics you can provide! BTW... I don't really want to paint them... would consider getting them powder coated this winter if I see some pics that convince me it would look good!

I have the gray engine and I've replaced the Rocker Boxes, Derby Cover, and Ignition Cover with black RSD covers. I have a few pics in my profile that show the rocker boxes and derby cover but none of the Ignition cover (just did it).

VHT paint is the quick and dirty way to go, but it does work.
You just have to be thorough with the cleaning preperations and it will last a good long time.

BTW Thanks for your service, keep your head down and come home safe.
